(More customer reviews)The bulbs appear fairly well constructed and they are plug-in replacements as advertised. I think they are of good quality - and they both worked on arrival.
Be warned, however, that this particular model has a very narrow angle of view compared to other 1157 LED bulbs I've used. It can really only be seen clearly from directly behind the vehicle. The 1157-style LED bulb they were replacing (bought from Wal-mart several years back) was quite clearly visible from at least the next lane over when less than a carlength back - which is kind of a nice thing for brake/tail lights.
The 6 back-facing/ambient LEDs on this model (which are meant to backlight the reflector) are a great idea, but they are much smaller than the main LEDs and are too dim to provide any really useful light. I would look for something with a wider beam pattern if this is to be used in a safety (brake light/tail light) situation.
[Just a quick edit to clarify - the seller has offered to exchange this for a different bulb, so I wanted to clarify that the review is to warn of the characteristics of the bulb design - not to reflect negatively on this seller (justpal), who seems most responsive.]
