(More customer reviews)I've only applied this once to my car about 6-8 weeks ago and it's still doing a great job of protecting. After washing my car it shines as if I just waxed it so in that respect this wax is very durable and lasting. What I don't care for is how it's applied. You rub a small amount onto your vehicle and then have to immediately rub it off. If the wax even begins to dry it becomes difficult to wipe it off the surface. You definitely have to use a lot more force to wipe off this wax than others you let dry to a haze before removing which to me makes the whole process of waxing more of a pain than it needs to be.
I ended up waxing the back end of my car with Meguiar's NXT 2.0 just to compare the two and the NXT was noticeably smoother than the gel wax if that's something you care about. The two seem to be holding up exactly the same as far as protection, though.
